six oak strip mirrors
A set of six unique mirrors with hand painted wood strips on solid oak frames in a post and lintel configuration. They can be displayed individually or in groups. The post and lintel style derives from ancient Greek architecture. This format has been used by contemporary painters Brice Marden and Imi Knoebel in many of their works. The colours used for this set of mirrors are from the Farrow & Ball range, each one is painted in four different colours.
Each frame has four split battens on the reverse so that each mirror can be rotated to display in a portrait or landscape format.
These mirrors can also be moved horizontally when resting on wall screws so that they may touch each other or have a gap between. This modular mirror set is unique, each frame is stamped and signed on the reverse.
Size of each frame: 340 x 260 x 28mm. Weight 1.5kg each. Not suitable for areas with high condensation.
Price: £1,300.00 inclusive for the set of six. We can deliver at cost to any part of the UK mainland - contact us for a quotation.
