rust on beech

This mirror is a variant of our 'strip' mirrors and the first to use metal on wood. The frame is solid beech wood with walnut corner plug details. The face and rebate of the frame were painted with Charlotte's Locks from the Farrow & Ball range. This vibrant orange shows under the steel plates and the rebate is reflected in the mirror.

The steel plates are irregular and they were allowed to rust and were then sealed with matt varnish. Each plate is fixed with a small screw. This mirror is unique and can be wall mounted flush with the integral split batten, the
frame is stamped and signed on the reverse.

Size: 520 x 300 x 37mm. Weight: 2kg. Not suitable for areas with high condensation.

Price: £495.00 inclusive. We can deliver at cost to any part of the UK mainland - contact us for a quotation.
