copper beech shelf mirror

This shelf mirror shows the versatility of our design, we have made them in oak and ash with different shelf inserts. This one was constructed in solid beech wood with a polished copper plate insert. The beech was hand finished, sealed, coated with beeswax and polished. The copper is untreated and the plate can be removed for cleaning and polishing or left to develop a patina as desired. When polished to a sheen it gives an additional reflection to ceramics or other objects placed on the shelf.

The shelf mirror has an integral split batten along the top of the frame ensuring it is stable and hangs flush to the wall. The mirror is signed and stamped on the reverse. Size: 650 x 300 x 140mm. Weight: 2kg.
